Amid 11 acres of landscaped gardens and parkland, north of Coventry city centre, this 19th century manor house has become the largest hotel in Coventry, with its own leisure club.

8 km (3 miles) from the central Coventry, the original manor house was built in 1894 by the car manufacturer William Hillman and has been developed over the past century. The NIA, ICC and Birmingham Symphony Hall are a 25-minute drive away, whilst the NEC can be reached in just 15 minutes.

The Carvery Restaurant is popular with locals and visitors alike and the adjacent Balmoral Bar offers a cosy environment overlooking the rolling lawns and gardens. The leisure club is equipped with an 18-metre indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, hair and beauty salon, and a large multi-purpose gym. The hotel features individually furnished en suite rooms, some of which overlook the gardens.
Spindles Health & Leisure Club:
The on-site Spindles health and leisure club offers its own bar, where a selection of health foods and beverages are available. Spindles prides itself on a good atmosphere generated by regular social events offered to its members and residents.

It is the hotel's policy that all children visiting Spindles who are aged 16 or below should be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children are also only permitted to use the pool, and may not use other Spindles facilities. Children under the age of 2 are not permitted to enter Spindles.

Spindles is open from 07:00 until 22:00 (Monday to Friday) and from 08:00 until 21:00 (Saturday and Sunday).

Entry to Spindles is at an additional cost.

Disabled Facilities:
There are designated car parking spaces and level access to reception. There is lift access to all bedrooms. Several accessible bedrooms (with accessible bathrooms) are available. The restaurant and bars are accessible by both wheelchair lifts (for stairs) and ramps. Assistance is offered with the carvery. Room service is available. Spindles health and leisure club, along with its reception, changing rooms and gym, are fully accessible.

Driving Directions. From the North (m1): Leave the m1 at Junction 21 on to the m69. Take the m6 North to Junction 3, exiting on to the a444 towards Coventry. At the 1st roundabout turn right, signposted to Holbrooks, then go straight over at the traffic lights, and turn left into Parkville Highway at the T-Junction. Turn right at the 1st set of lights into Parkgate Road. Follow the road to the end and turn left at the T-Junction into Bennetts Road South (signposted to Keresley & City Centre). At the 1st set of traffic lights turn right, signposted for Corley & Fillongley. Follow this road (Sandpits Lane) to the end and turn right at the T-Junction, signposted Tamworth a51. The hotel is located 100yards on the right hand side. From the North West (M6): Leave the M6 at Junction 3 exiting on to the A444 towards Coventry. At the 1st roundabout turn right, signposted to Holbrooks, then go straight over at the traffic lights, and turn left into Parkville Highway at the T-Junction. Turn right at the 1st set of lights into Parkgate Road. Follow the road to the end and turn left at the T-Junction into Bennetts Road South (signposted to Keresley & City Centre). At the 1st set of traffic lights turn right, signposted for Corley & Fillongley. Follow this road (Sandpits Lane) to the end and turn right at the T-Junction, signposted Tamworth A51. The hotel is located 100 yards on the right hand side. From the South West (M5/M42): Leave the M42 at Junction 6 on to the A45 towards Coventry. Take the exit for Coventry A4114. At the roundabout, take the exit signposted City Centre, Allesley, Jaguar Assembly Plant & Brownshill Green. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit, signposted Browns Lane Plant & Keresley. Go straight across at the next roundabout, signposted Brownshill Green, Coundon & Keresley (passing the Jaguar Plant on the left). Go straight across at the next roundabout, signposted to Keresley, and at the T-Junction at the top of the road, turn right, and the hotel is 100 yards on the left. From the South (M40): Leave the M40 at Junction 15 on to the A46 towards Coventry. Then left on to the A45 towards Birmingham. Go straight across at the 1st roundabout, following the A45 towards Birmingham. Go straight across at a number of traffic lights and straight across at the next roundabout. There are several more sets of traffic lights, so continue straight across these, remaining on the A45. Take the exit for A4114 City Centre, Allesley, Jaguar Assembly Plant & Brownshill Green. Then follow the directions as above for those traveling from the South West. From the South (M1): Leave the M1 at Junction 17 on to the M45/A45 to Coventry. Then, follow the directions above for those travelling from the South (M40) taking the A45 towards Birmingham. From NEC / Birmingham International Airport: Turn east across M42 on to A45 towards Coventry. Take the exit for Coventry A4114. At the roundabout, take the exit signposted City Centre, Allesley, Jaguar Assembly Plant & Brownshill Green. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit, signposted Browns Lane Plant & Keresley.
